Summer is drawing to a close and things are picking up here at Ss Peter and Paul Jesuit Church!

This past month, our choir hosted a social after Mass, the young adults enjoyed the downtown sites from the rooftop of the new Monarch club and later enjoyed just hanging around a campfire, and the Parish Council held a Town Hall meeting to inform their writing of our new strategic plan. On August 22, our Social Justice Committee hosted guest speakers who discussed their experiences working in a migrant shelter in El Paso. No wonder the summer went by so quickly!

Labor Day weekend will see us hosting our 3rd Annual Jazz Mass on September 1. Our young adults are invited to a retreat at Manresa and everyone is invited to attend our first Parish Brunch on September 22. All of our ministries and committees will be coming back from their summer hiatuses, and new members are welcome!  We expect another great season here at Ss Peter and Paul Jesuit!

Please check out our calendar and stop by our after-mass socials for a chance to meet others in our growing parish!
