Spirituality. Service. Leadership.

Come join us as we build a center of young adult spirituality and community at the heart of the rebirth of downtown Detroit. We live our faith in the city, so that the city’s people can live!

A Community of Spirituality

Sunday Liturgy. Join other young adults at the regular Sunday services at Ss Peter and Paul Jesuit Church. Many come especially to the Sunday evening 7:30PM liturgy.

Music. We are building a contemporary choir and ensemble for the 7:30 service. Contact our Music Director,  Julie Ford.

Social Gatherings. We have a social gathering after the 7:30 service on the second Sunday of each month. Sometimes serious conversation, sometimes just enjoying a night out!

Celebrating the International Freedom Fest!

Small Church Community. We have a regular bi-weekly peer-led gathering that provides a forum for spiritual growth and discovery through shared discussion and prayer exploring the questions of our lives. For more information, click here.

Study/Discussion Series. We host occasional series of readings and discussions to explore a contemporary topic; for example, we had a six-week series on the writing of Pope Francis, “The Joy of the Gospel.”

We encourage volunteer service through our Pope Francis Center for the homeless. You can sign up individually or with some friends directly on their website (scroll down for weekday or Saturday options).

In addition, we hope to establish other regular community service opportunities in a variety of settings. Join our email list (above) to get the news about these opportunities.

“Contemplative Leaders in Action,” is our leadership development program for young professionals, rooted in Ignatian spirituality. We are now in our third year, with 17 participants in their mid-20s to mid-30s. This cutting-edge Jesuit-founded program, operating  nationally in 8 other major cities, helps participants integrate the development of their leadership gifts in their professional life with their faith and spiritual growth, in the context of a supportive peer community.

Read a one-page summary of the program here. If you are interested in a future cohort, contact our Program Director, Carrie Czajka.
