The carbon footprint is the amount of carbon dioxide and other carbon compounds that are emitted due to the consumption of fossil fuel by a particular person, group, industry, etc. You can calculate your carbon footprint at this website. https://www3.epa.gov/carbon-footprint-calculator/ There are many other calculators available on Google.

Once you have the calculation, you can see where you can decrease it to have an impact on global warming. Consider “hidden” usage also. How far did your food travel to get to you? How much of your wardrobe is from man-made materials, i.e. polyester or other plastics?
