Laudato Si’, Pope Francis’s encyclical letter “On Care for Our Common Home,” was first published May 24, 2015. This past year has celebrated the Fifth Anniversary of the letter. The Laudato Si’ Week is presented by the Global Catholic Climate Movement, in conjunction with the Vatican Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development, and sponsored by a wide range of organizations worldwide, including the Jesuits, the Franciscans, and Caritas International to name a few.
